When buying health insurance money always comes into play. The only way to get coverage for free is if your employer pays your entire premium. While there are companies that offer this benefit, they are few and far between. This is particularly true in today’s world with more and more companies trying to cut costs and boost profits. 

As an individual consumer you need to spend your money wisely if you are in the market for group health insurance. The way that you spend your money, and what you end up getting, has a lot to do with how you will feel about your insurance situation. Are you spending too much on health insurance? Could you afford to spend more so you can get better coverage? These are questions that you need to answer to ensure that your money is going to the right place. 

If you are not careful you may end up spending money and not getting as much as you should. There is a fine line between getting the right health insurance quote for your money, and feeling like you have been ripped off.

Have you met any of your neighbors that told you they lost their health insurance?  Did you ever ask them how that happened?  Was it because they didn’t pay their premium?  Did they tell you that the health insurance carrier just went up and dropped them?  It is a pretty well known fact that a health insurance carrier cannot single you out and drop you from their coverage.  The ways in which you might have lost your coverage?

-Decided not to pay your health insurance premiums because they were to expensive

-The health insurance carrier left the state and will not be doing business there anymore

-You didn’t tell the truth on your health insurance application
