Health Care Public Opinion
A survey on public opinion was released Tuesday stating that the majority of US families are concerned that their health care costs would significant rise if the proposed reform plan is passed. Only one in ten people believe that their families would be better off under the new idealistic insurance plan. What is your opinion?
President Obama aspires to bring down the cost of healthcare and provide medical insurance to the millions of American citizens who cannot afford coverage. He is also proposing a government run insurance plan which will compete with private insurers. Whose tax dollars are going to pay for this convenient government plan? How is this plan going to help the US out of its indefinite debt? Â What type of influence will this government plan have on private insurance companies? How many more small businesses will have to close because of this plan?
There are many pros and cons associated with this new reform. I guess as a “democratic†society we will have to sit back and watch the government manipulate the way we take care of ourselves.
